Join people from all around the Southeast who will gather in person to attend this very special event. Being able to listen to authentic Dharma teachings in a blessed Temple is an incredibly profound and meaningful experience. You will be able to connect with Sangha friends from all around the region in-person, and enjoy the temple at KMC North Carolina in Charlotte. This year’s Southern Dharma Celebration will be recorded and streamed for residents of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and the Florida Panhandle and who have valid reasons for not being able to attend the event in person, such as disability or long-distance travel. In-person registration is available to everyone.

Online Registration:

Please read carefully before booking online registration. 

This event is NOT streaming live. You will see the replay links in a streaming portal after 48 hours.

For the empowerment there will be a 24 hour viewing period only.  The empowerment link will appear on the streaming portal on Tuesday, March 25 at 6a.m. and will remain active until Wednesday, March 26 at 6a.m. Simply click on the link provided once it appears at that time to view the empowerment.

For all other viewing links, these will go live and appear on the streaming page at least 48 hours after the end of the celebration, beginning Tuesday, March 25 at 8a.m. You will have two weeks (14 days) to watch any of these sessions at your convenience until Tuesday, April 8 at 11:59p.m. You will simply click on the streaming links to view the session.

Profits raised by the Southern Dharma Celebration are dedicated for public benefit to the International Temples Project and used for the development of Kadampa Meditation Centers and Temple Projects throughout the world.

Parents with Children:

Children are always welcome at the Southern Dharma Celebration. For children ages 0-15, admission is FREE. Children 16 and over must register as adults. Children must be registered in advance. We will have a video link in a smaller meditation room where parents can watch with their children. Unattended children are not allowed.

Accommodations:

There are several bed and breakfast, Airbnb, VRBO and hotel accommodations within walking distance or a short drive to KMC Georgia. Attendees are responsible for booking their own accommodations for the weekend. There is not an official block of rooms booked in any particular hotel.
