Woodruff Park: FREE Meditation in the Park

Join us each Tuesday for summer meditations in the park. These meditations are perfect for beginner and advanced meditators alike. Meditation sessions are led by qualified meditation instructors from Kadampa Meditation Center Georgia. These sessions are FREE, open to the public, and do not require any kind of registration…just gather at the north end of the park by the waterfall.

Huntsville Ongoing Meditation Classes

With Kadampa Meditation Teacher Yingji Wang. These ongoing drop-in classes are designed so that you can join us at any point in the series and not feel left out. Each class contains a brief meditation, a short teaching and discussion. Each series lasts for a few weeks, before switching topics. Everyone welcome!

Poncey Highlands Meditation Class

Ancient wisdom for modern times! Join us for a special series exploring the practical advice found in the famous Buddhist text, Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life, by meditation master Shantideva. These ongoing drop-in classes are designed so that you can join us at any point in the series and not feel left out. Each class contains two meditations and a short teaching on practical advice we can apply in our daily life right away. Q&A and discussion to follow. Everyone welcome! Kadampa Teacher Melanie Boyd leads this class’s summer series through August 2. After this session, American Buddhist monk and KMC Georgia resident teacher Gen Kelsang Mondrub hosts the sessions.

Sandy Springs Meditation Class

We begin each class with a short meditation to relax and prepare our minds, followed by a practical teaching perfect for both beginner and advanced meditators.
